Energy saving
CMS identifies energy loss relating to compressed air and gas leaks and takes energy-saving measures.
Less is more.
Machines can lose productivity if the wrong technology choices are made, but also if, for example, the compressed air supply is not optimal. 10% of energy consumption in European industry goes into compressed air, i.e. 80 TWh annually. The cost of compressed air consists of 75% of the energy consumption of the compressor. As much as 15% is lost. This involves huge, often hidden, costs. CMS is tackling this issue thoroughly in cooperation with SMC Pneumatics (ISO8573:1-2010).
